I’m very new to music production and I’ve never touched a waveform synthesizer before. When I first opened Vital the whole UI just felt overwhelming, but your explanations were very helpful and made clear how to work and experiment with sounds in the interface. My first experiments were shit but now I’ve got a fat bass that I’m actually beginning to like!

Hello Infekt, I’m going through your classes and taking notes, i know this is a super simple question, but im at the part where you apply the LFO to the oscillator to get sound, but i cant find anywhere how you managed to get the sound to play. I havent been able to find a play button or shortcut key to hear a playback. Thanks.

Ohhh I basically had to put some MIDI notes into the timeline of Ableton Live (I’ve put quarter notes on E0 in this case). Those notes will then play it back.

I use serum will this be a problem going forward? or can i still apply these techniques or do i have to completely switch?

Pretty dumb question but I can’t seem to get the folder glork tables 1 to show up in my vital presets. Is there a specific way to do this? I try to import bank but there is no .vitalbank file so it won’t show up for me and i cannot select these wavetables to practice with.
