wow, loved the pro-q overlap trick! i’d never heard of that and i already know that’ll be SUPER helpful with layering in my projects

So useful to really hear how you can compliment each individual sound by emphasizing their unique position(s) on the frequency spectrum at various frequencies, whether this be the lows, mids, or highs.
Hi this was amazingly helpful so thank you — one question, do you ever automate the EQ? For example, if you want to lower the highs on the kick only while the clap is playing, would you automate that? Or does that become too confusing/mess other things up as you get deeper into your mixdown?
